DESCRIPTION:Look\, up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Superman!!!  Faster than a speeding bullet! More powerful than a locomotive! Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound!  Captain America may be the first Avenger\, but Superman was the first superhero with super powers.  The “Man of Steel” first appeared in Action Comics #1\, June 1938.  A copy of this issue sold for the highest price ever recorded for a comic book\, $6 million in April 2024. \nDC Comics (the “DC” originally standing for Detective Comics)\, gave us many of our most well known superheroes and super villains including Superman\, Batman\, Wonder Woman\, the Flash\, the Joker\, Lex Luthor\, and the Penguin.  The latest Superman movie\, Superman: Legacy\, will be released July 11.  Come join us at the Hall of Heroes to celebrate DC Comics and the first super powered superhero – Superman!
